Walks.
Isle of Anglesey Coastal Footpath.
Circular 125 mile journey round the island. We will assist you to walk the whole or suggest the highlights. Transport available. Guide and maps supplied.
1) Moelfre Lligwy Mynydd Bodafon Din Lligwy.
Circular 11.25M. 5/6 hrs. Start in a lovely scenic village, follow the coastal footpath to Dulas lagoon, turn inland and ascend Mynydd Bodafon the highest point on Anglesey for the best views. Descend to the coast by different paths, cross Lligwy beach and visit 2nd century village Din Lligwy.
2) Lligwy Mynydd Bodafon.
Circular Shorter version of above. 7M 4 hrs.
3)Copper Coast circular.
14 M 6/7 hrs. Starts and finishes in Amlwch Port where there is a café and museum. Follows the coastal footpath to Dulas then heads inland for Parys Mountain which was the largest copper mins in the world in 19C. Then by miners paths back to the harbour.
4) Copper Coast circular
6M 3hrs is a shorter version of the above but does not visit the mine.
5)Dulas Amlwch Port Linear.
11M 5/6 hrs. Start at the pilot Boat Inn and walk the Anglesey Coastal Footpath to the historic Port 18C. Wonderful scenery, history and wildlife.
6) Bull Bay Llanbadrig Circular..
10M 5/6hrs. From spectacular Bull Bay along the coast to Porth Wen a 19C brick works in a lovely bay. Next to Dinas Gwynfor a bronze age fort and settlement, on to Llanliana site of a 6C convent and feldspar mine the buildings of which became a hotel in 19th C. Then to St Padrigs 9C church on the cliff top and back via lane and footpath.
7) Cemlyn Church Bay circular
10M 5/6hrs. Start at the nature reserve and take the Coastal footpath to Carmel Head, to Ynys Y Fydlyn and on the Church Bay the best walk in Wales. Then across country, over Mynydd Y Garn through Llanfairynghornwy to Cemlyn.
8)Church Bay Holyhead linear.
10M 5/6hrs. South from Church Bay on the coastal path to the Afon Alaw estuary, here you ford the river and cross to Holy Island on The Cob, built by Thomas Telford, pass through a nature reserve and finish in Holyhead.
9)The Stacks. Circular 7M 4/5hrs.
From Breakwater Park take the coast path round to North Stack. Across the cliffs to South Stack visit the lighthouse? 365 steps or Ellins Tower RSPB. Then over Holyhead Mountain to the start.
10) The Two Lighthouses Walk linear
50M 3/ 4 days. A long distance footpath which crosses the island from Penmon to South Stack, in the footsteps of St Seriol and St Cybi celtic saints who are said to walked this way. Can be arranged over three or four days, transport arranged.

We can either provide you with maps and directions or supply a guide. We will help with transport, on a linear walk we will leave your car at the end and take you to the start.
Other activities.
The Copper Kingdom. Copper has been mined at Parys since the Bronze Age, Phoenicians and Romans came here. In the 19C it was the biggest copper mine in the world. A day can be devoted to learning about this fascinating site. A guided tour of the mine site followed by an underground tour wearing a cap lamp and wellies to see the old workings and artefacts left behind. Then you could walk down the old ore road to Amlwch Port and visit the heritage museum taking refreshment at the café there. Price on application.
Standing Stones. Anglesey is world renowned for its standing stones we have a hundred. A half day tour with a guide can be arranged to visit some of them. £30 per car full our transport, free for additional cars.
Local Towns. Guided tours can be arranged for Holyhead Roman Town, Beaumaris and its castle and Caernarfon and its castle. Nominal charge to guide.
Cycling. There are four local signed and one national cycle route on Anglesey, we have cycles for hire.
